The streets of London were echoing with a troubling trend: a rising wave of knife-related violence among the youth, particularly young men. Driven by a passion to make a real impact, we sought an innovative way to channel the dreams of those yearning for a spotlight in the performing arts. And so, the UK Talent Train was born, powered by our slogan: Get Behind Your Talent and Shine!

As we expanded our reach across the globe, we've come to understand that not every child is meant to walk the traditional path of becoming a lawyer, doctor, or accountant. A multitude of them possess a natural flair for the performing arts but often find themselves without the direction and support needed to break into the industry.

Michael Mantock 

CEO and Founder

Introducing Michael Mantock, the visionary force behind UK Talent Train, assuming dual roles as founder and Sound Technician. A maestro not only in driving talent empowerment but also a seasoned music technical engineer and top-tier professional carpenter. His artistic finesse spans soundscapes and craftsmanship, showcasing mastery as an A-class carpenter.

Originally from Jamaica, Michael's journey began as an event promoter and sound system proprietor. Having resided in the United Kingdom for over two decades, his visionary dream of nurturing youth through talents materialized with the establishment of UK Talent Train in 2008. Michael's dedication expands beyond music and events, mirroring his prowess as a professional carpenter alongside his goal to inspire and train the next generation.

In the heart of Africa, Michael's path continues to unfold. He embodies empowerment, blending Jamaican roots, UK experiences, and African aspirations into a harmonious symphony resonating with promise and potential. Meet Choannah Gordon Anderson, also known as "Nubian Kween", the co-founder of UK Talent Train. Armed with a degree in event management and qualifications in music production, management, and performing arts, Nubian's versatility shines.

As a copywriter and dedicated student of Dan Lok, she's a lifelong learner. Nubian's expertise also extends to teaching vocal and performance training, along with a deep passion for dance. 

While England is her birthplace, her Jamaican heritage and rich experiences define her. Now rooted in Africa, Nubian's mission is twofold: empowering youth through music and nurturing young girls and women to embrace their unique identities unapologetically. Her "Unleash Your Inner Kween" series empower individuals to enhance their self-confidence and tackle personal obstacles head-on. - not only in music but in life. Meanwhile, her "EmpowerHer" school initiative is designed to provide teenage girls with crucial life skills, fostering personal growth and a proud celebration of their African heritage.
